After the impressive success of CO2 condensing units, CAREL is promoting a new solution for CO2 booster systems with several DC compressors in the same line in order to merge low ambient impact of the most marketed natural refrigerant, in centralized systems, with the high performance of DC technology.
Focusing on the technology we will describe the main benefits of a multi DC compressor mini pack compared to similar unit, AC driven, starting with the brilliant performances at partial load and ending with the reduced number of on/off cycles, helping to smoothen out the unit regulation.
Compactness, overall reduction of cost and ease to use are the others key factors of this solution to support the use of natural refrigerants in commercial refrigeration.

Application Specialist – Retail Solutions
After obtaining his Master degree in Energy Engineering (Padua University, 2015), Matteo Dal Corso joined CAREL working as an Application Specialist for food retail refrigeration application controllers.
He is currently in charge of the development and deployment of electronic controllers dedicated to centralized supermarket and condensing units by defining market strategies, proposing new solutions and supporting the sales network with technical and application consulting.
During the last years he has been focused mainly on CO2 transcritical application development worldwide.
