  • General characteristics

    CAREL E2V electronic expansion valves combine high reliability with precise control, guaranteed by an equipercentile flow characteristic and a valve member with 15 mm stroke and no axial rotation.

    The wide range of E2V models is ideal for use in any refrigeration circuit with a capacity of up to 40 kW. Operation is possible in both directions of flow (full bi-directional flow capability), making the valves especially suitable for heat pump applications, simplifying construction of the circuit and thus significantly reducing both development and installation costs. 
    A Teflon gasket installed on the valve member - available on all sizes - guarantees extremely tight closing and prevents leaks.

    The E2V range includes, among others, a specific series for CO2, designed for application in super-critical circuits. This series of valves can guarantee the highest performance in reducing system energy consumption, and is available with either stainless steel fittings (E2V-CS versions) or copper fittings (E2V-CW versions).
