General characteristics
The SI battery-powered wireless industrial sensor is a device part of the rTM SE system. It is installed directly in the room to monitor temperature, humidity and light, and is ideal for retrofit applications or sites where the infrastructure prevents cables from being laid.
It transmits data on the temperature, humidity and light intensity wirelessly to the Access Point using the ZigBee™ communication protocol; the Access Point is in turn connected to a CAREL supervisory system via Modbus® RTU over an RS485 serial link.
