humiFog Multizone Touch
humiFog Multizone Touch is an adiabatic spray humidifier that works by delivering pressurised water by a pump to nozzles mounted on the rack, where they are atomised into micrometric droplets in the air handling duct or directly in the room being humidified.
Thanks to the technology used, humiFog is a highly efficient and accurate product.
The efficiency is a result of the high pressure: the volumetric piston pump can reach a pressure of 70 bars, which, together with the special nozzles, means the water is atomised into droplets measuring approximately 15 µm in diameter.
The accuracy depends on a series of factors:
- the inverter, which modulates the pump rotation speed based on the request, with an accuracy of just 1% deviation from the set point
- the solenoid valves on the rack manage the flow-rate by dividing it into steps, so as to be able to meet instant demand
- the CAREL electronic controller (c.pCO) ensures advanced and precise control of system operation and parameters.
humiFog Multizone Touch, in addition to humidification, can also be used for evaporative cooling, both direct and indirect, and also offers the possibility to manage more than one zone with a main and secondary configuration. These features allow the installation of humiFog in all environments, from comfort applications to delicate industrial processes. The hygiene certification, in accordance with VDI6022, also allows installation in hospitals and clean rooms.
humiFog Multizone Touch is available in the following sizes: 150, 300, 500, 800, 1200 l/h with the standard piston pump and 250, 600, 1350 l/h with the oil-free piston pump. This latter is the newest version of the humiFog family, the perfect solution for industrial applications that require intense, 24/7 operation and minimum maintenance, thanks to the water-lubricated piston pump.
As concerns the distribution system, the atomising rack is designed to the customer’s specifications, and will have specific dimensions and capacity depending on the characteristics of the project and the air handling unit.
Very low power consumption, ~ 4W per kg/h of humidity produced, compared to around 800W for a traditional electrode humidifier.
Multizone configuration to serve up to 12 independent zones with a single pumping unit.
Certified hygiene thanks to the use of demineralised water, washing cycles, complete drainage of water and the use of materials according to laws and regulations, without the use of chemicals and biocides.
High capacity up to 1200 l/h for applications such as paint spray booths and data centres.
