Advanced connectivity for refrigeration plants
Configuration and start-up from the screen of your smartphone
There are numerous challenges behind the design and construction of a refrigeration machine, and every OEM knows them very well: sizing, component selection, welding, assembly. However, it is also true that there is another fundamental phase that challenges installers and technicians: the machine's commissioning and start-up.
Unscheduled events and difficulties on site can slow down and complicate the loading of goods in a supermarket, the testing of an air conditioning system, the opening of a restaurant.
Action must therefore be taken wherever possible to be ready for any eventuality. This is where an agile and intuitive machine control really helps.
Having simple set-up and adjustment procedures can make all the difference in the busy moments of a start-up, and can even prevent setting errors at source by making machine interfacing as intuitive as possible.
It was with these objectives in view that the new μRack was developed, the control for condensing units and small refrigeration plants. In a small piece of hardware, it encapsulates everything you need in terms of software functionality and hardware connections to control the unit in the best possible way. With dedicated energy-saving functions, it can modulate compressors of various types and condenser fans to balance the energy consumed, while at the same time safeguarding the reliability of the system with logic designed to protect compressors and service continuity.
And now to its strong point, connectivity: μRack is a modern control that allows builders, installers and users to interface and adjust the unit quickly and intuitively via smartphone apps. Simply connecting via Bluetooth or NFC allows users to configure parameters, check the operating status, and transfer the setup to other units. In short, everything that is normally done with a refrigeration unit, on a touchscreen.
