Control solutions for every configuration

CAREL provides the right control solution for different cold room configurations. UltraCella is a ready-to-use platform for complete cold room management dedicated to installers. Thanks to its modular architecture, it adapts to the needs of the system by integrating the expansion modules, allowing to manage high power single-phase or three-phase loads and control electronic expansion valves. 

For remote evaporator cold rooms in centralized systems, electrical panels based on the new MPXPRO controller offer native electronic expansion valve management, intelligent load monitoring and NFC or Bluetooth® connectivity with Applica.

For monoblock units' manufacturers, the iJ range is the perfect solution, supporting Panel and Split HMI versions to adapt to any mounting condition, integrating Applica connectivity via NFC or Bluetooth® and supporting A3-ready R290 single and multi-circuit applications. 

Efficiency, humidity and safety

Energy efficiency and product quality are supported by CAREL electronic expansion valve solution, including: a wide range of electronic expansion valves covering all the refrigerants, multiple driver solutions, probes and pressure transducers.  

Selection and installation of CAREL electronic expansion valve technology are now simpler than ever, thanks to EVD ice kit, the new entry level solution for installers, including all the components in a single practical package. 

For applications such as fruit and vegetable storage, UltraCella, humiDisk adiabatic humidifiers and humidity probes help manage humidity as well as temperature, supporting freshness and reducing product weight loss.  

Safety and personnel protection is addressed through ColdWatch trapped person alarm, compliant with UNI EN 378-1, and Gas Leakage Detector devices for refrigerant leak detection, covering all the main refrigerants in the market, including CO₂. 

Supervision for operational continuity

The supervisory system completes the cold room ecosystem. boss micro panel range collects data from the different devices in the application and provides a single access point for monitoring, alarm management, reports and parameter settings, locally on the 7” touch display or remotely.  

By connecting controllers, valve drivers, humidifiers, safety devices and supervision, CAREL helps simplify the work of installers and manufacturers, improve system performance and preserve the quality of stored products with greater operational continuity.
