The new CAREL MPXPRO has been designed as an advanced electronic controller that embeds intelligence directly at device level, supporting refrigeration applications from remote showcases and cold rooms to plug-in units.
Local control and advanced diagnostics
MPXPRO integrates advanced control capabilities directly on the controller, allowing critical functions to be managed locally without relying on external systems. This distributed approach supports faster response to real operating conditions, improved system protection and more stable performance in the field.
Built-in load current sensing provides native monitoring of key components, such as evaporator fans, enabling early detection of abnormal conditions and load failures. The controller processes this information to generate alarms, diagnostics and insights that simplify commissioning, testing and service activities.
Simpler lifecycle management
A consistent user experience across the MPX platform, together with CAREL tools such as SPARK, SPARKLY and the APPLICA app, supports every phase of the product lifecycle, from technical office configuration to production line testing and field service.
MPXPRO is also equipped with a USB-C port, allowing the controller to be programmed, monitored and diagnosed even when not powered. This helps reduce time, errors and operational complexity during installation, pre-commissioning and maintenance.
Flexible architecture for future-ready refrigeration
MPXPRO can be adopted as a stand-alone controller, with flexible vertical or horizontal connector mounting, or as part of a complete electrical panel solution for cold rooms and cabinets. Panel configurations simplify installation and wiring, improve usability through clear HMIs and support faster commissioning for OEMs and installers.
With support for advanced applications such as flooded evaporators, Very Low Superheat, multiplexed hot gas management and scalable software architecture, MPXPRO becomes an intelligent node within the refrigeration system, bringing decision-making closer to the unit and enabling smarter, more reliable refrigeration installations.
